John Rader is an excellent instructor. I took a private Concealed Carry course from him. I was very impressed with his knowledge of weapons and gun laws also he has a very patient personality. He also talked about personal protection in your home, and car beyond just carrying a gun.

The BEST in COLORADO. John is extremely Knowledgeable, Personable, and Patient. Me and my husband to his CCW class last year and my son just took it last week. He was so thankful and happy that John took extra time to explain and help him. John Rader is THE BEST! Go take his class and invite your family and friends. You will love it.

I Highly recommend Colorado Tactics! John is extremely knowledgeable about all firearms and teaches you to be safe with them. He is extremely patient and kind, and he watches everything you do from the way you stand to the way you hold the gun and shows you how to be the best you can be. Having him as a teacher was the best choice I could have made!

I took the Basic Pistol Shooting class with John and couldn't be happier with the experience. As someone looking to build confidence and knowledge around firearm ownership, I appreciated how thorough and safety-focused the training was. John took the time to explain not just how to shoot, but also proper handling, cleaning, and safety procedures. I left feeling informed, confident, and prepared. Highly recommend!

This is one business I would 100% recommend. John gave a presentation at a conference and didn't disappoint. I would say he over delivered in his knowledge, public-speaking skills, and preparation! Attendees had great things to say after his presentation. I wish it had been longer and I would absolutely work with him again in the future!

Rader is an excellent instructor! He keeps the class engaging and makes you feel comfortable to be imperfect and ask questions, both in the classroom and the firing range. I would highly recommend any and all of his services! Plus, Colorado Tactics is a small business and veteran owned. A win all around!
