Concealed carry permits

This is the class you take to satisfy the state requirement and apply for your permit. It is taught by a Douglas County verified instructor, which the law requires. Full details →
Renewing rather than applying for the first time? Colorado lets you take a 2-hour refresher instead of repeating the whole course. $94.99, live fire and written exam included.
Colorado firearms safety course (SB25-003)
Required since August 1, 2026 before you can buy a specified semiautomatic firearm. Classroom only — no range time, nothing to bring.

Executive and family protection
For executives who have professional protection during the working day and none of it at home, on weekends, or on personal travel — and for their families. Programs run from a single half-day assessment through to a twelve-month partnership.
